Hanneke Jevons has retired from teaching art after 38 years in education.She can now use her time to create her art work. She is currently the president of the CPSA DC117...( www.cpsa117.org ) ... organization.
Colored pencil is her primary choice of medium,but she actively photographs her subjects and uses the images from her experiences and travels, in her work.
Being very fond of animals, she raises cows and dogs .With travels to Alaska,Maine,Hawaii,Europe and Florida her images try to reflect the natural beauty of these places.
"My goal is to artistically preserve the beauty of the natural world and its inhabitants."
I work with colored pencil, graphite, pen and ink, oils and photography.
